Georgia Bikes!

The 2014 GRTTC marked the 9th successful ride as hundreds of cyclists - for the second year in a row - rode in freezing cold weather to the Capitol to show their support for better bicycling in Georgia! With the new streetcar tracks on Edgewood, this year's ride featured an alternate route downtown. Not quite as challenging as the 2013 event (no snow flurries!), the cyclists were certainly impressive as they arrived at the Capitol. Mayors, legislators, GDOT Deputy Director Todd Long and Governor Nathan Deal all complimented the riders' fortitude. The commitment of those who rode definitely advocated state and local officials that cycling is very important to Georgia residents.

Come ride with us for the 10th anniversary event in 2015 and show your support for Georgia cycling too!
